The Atacama HMS 1 (High Mass Stand 1) is a premier speaker stand, ideal for when a reference quality monitor style speaker stand is what you need. Freestanding or in a monitor cabinet, the Atacama HMS 1 speaker stand comes with isolation gel pads that prevent the transmission of unwanted vibration and interference. These gel pads are made from a high performance polyeurethene elastomer which stops sound and vibration from moving through them. They also have the added bonus of being non-scratch and non-slip.
To further increase the weight of the HMS 1, the stands can be filled with up to 27 kilograms of Acatama Atabites. Atabites is a high density filler designed for increasing the mass of speaker stands, locking together closely to reduce the amount of air gaps. Filling the HMS 1 fully with Atabites increases the weight from 7 kilograms to 34 kilograms, providing the perfect platform for you audio experience.
