Atacama's Aurora 6 speaker stands have a fine pedigree that goes back over two decades. The designers of the Aurora 6 set out to produce a speaker stand that was utterly different to anything else on the market whilst still meeting the needs of audio enthusiasts everywhere. The sound was important, but equally the Aurora 6 needed an aesthetic appeal - a look that would add interest to a room, rather than detracting from it.

The clear glass tube offers a striking look, whilst the chrome tube running down the centre makes sure that any cables are hidden out of sight. The glass tube can be filled with just about anything solid you can think of, from glass beads to sand to Atacama’s Atabite Premium filler. The possibilities are endless, allowing the Aurora 6 to be colour coordinated with its surroundings.

The Aurora 6 proves that a speaker stand can look good and sound good as well. Pivotal to this is the glass tube, fastened at both ends by ASIST (Atacama Sonic Isolation System Technology) gaskets. These ASIST gaskets reduce the amount of vibration that is transferred to the glass tube, and therefore prevent any 'ringing' that may occur. By only using three heavy duty carpet spikes, the speaker is further isolated from any interference. The result - a better sound from your speakers!
