First launched nearly a decade ago, the Equinox Series Hi Fi stand’s staying power is a testament to the quality and the design of the Equinox range. Winning numerous awards, including Product of the Year at the What Hi-FI? Sound and Vision awards from 2004 to 2008, the Equinox Hi Fi has classic looks and an extremely high build quality.

The Atacama Equinox XL Pro SE series builds upon this success, allowing heavier equipment to be used with this stand. As part of the new SE specification, four carbon steel ball bearings, one for each leg, are locked into place with nylon isolation cups. Any high frequency sound is further deadened by having neoprene pads fitted to the top cups. This all comes together to result in further preventing the transfer of vibration and giving excellent acoustic dampening.

Flexible, durable and good looking, the Atacama Equinox range has the unique ability to expand as your audio and video equipment expands. On top of that, each shelf is acoustically isolated by heavy duty spikes, reducing the vibrations transferred to and from the equipment - often resulting in improved sound quality. All models incorporate glass shelves toughened to BS 6206A and EN 12600:2002, which are decoupled from the rack framework to prevent vibration affecting sensitive equipment.
